My brother Bob and I just got back from five great days in Palm Springs, enjoying dinner at ZIN, taking the famous Tram ride, doing a 20 mile ride along the san Andreas Fault, a little pool action. check out the video on an upcomg episode of Talkintravel.tv, and in Relax and Pivitol magazines.

It’s been about a year and a half since my brother Bob and I had a “brothers getaway weekend.” That time we spent some time in Ashland, Oregon (see http://www.talkintravel.com in the section called western us pt 2). So this time, we’re heading south to Palm Springs, California. Check here for updates on what we’ve been up to. Should be some fun, with golf, massages, great food, Joshua Trees, Wind Farms, bicycle riding along the San Andreas Fault and who know what kind of trouble we’ll get into.
We;ve been spending some weekends in the Angels Camp area of Calavaras County and have rediscovered why is such a unique place. The town of Murphys is growing with a few new restaurants including a Vegeterian one. Keep it on your list for a quick getaway weekend, only about two and a half hours from San Francisco.
